  • Little help from WA R32 Owners

    Hi all,
Been lerking on here for a while and after selling my car on the weekend i am in the market for a new one. I am thinking of getting an R32 and was hoping that any Perth R32 owners would give 10-15 min of their time so i could come have a look and a quick ride to make sure i fit and like it.
Any help would be apreciated and i am happy to pay for your time
    Cheers
    Ross

hey thad, if youre considering a mkIV, then perhaps also consider an Audi S3.

will keep it in mind but not a fan of the 'older' style audi's.

The 8P isn't too old (or 8L even, which is the same age as the Mk4 Golf) in terms of looks IMHO.. There was also a 3.2L Quattro A3 with DSG that you may wish to consider. Audis have a nicer interior in my opinion than the VWs of the same age.

For what it's worth, I've got a Bora V6 4Motion (so the interior is all layed out pretty much identically to the R32), and I'm 6'4" tall, just over 100kgs, and I fit into the Bora pretty fine.

sorry but by 'older' i ment not the current shape not the age of the car in question. however it is another car to add the the short list (which seems to be getting longer by the min)

the 8P S3 you will be looking around the $40-50k mark, whereas the 8L S3 (2000) which i have is around the $22k mark.

The MkIV R32 is the same car as my 8L, AWD etc, but a different body, and a V6 vs turbo engine and a price tag of $25-35k depending on year and condition.

I'm based in Canning Vale if you did want to come and consider a look
