i got a spare via C2's UK branch, they sourced and tuned one then shipped over to me, and took the immobilser off too for obvious reasons.

tried camden no answer yet, imparts no luck there, no such thing as a non oem ecu's and they suggested oem so i rang vw rrp$2046 from germany, perhaps 800 euros not that bad after all . . .

maybe bora 4motion drivers just dont crash their cars?

not sure redbook quote trade in price guide $8,600 - $10,600, if engine is gone couldnt see it going for more than $2-3k, looks likes its been submergerd and from the looks of the floor and the mechanics paper floor mat looks like they have had a crack at fixing it and then written it off, vic plates on the seat
