Do not go HIDs without a full conversion (change to proper HID-suitable projectors, etc). Just don't.

I'm using the Philips Xtreme Power bulbs, and they're pretty bloody good. Powerbulbs have great pricing on them too.
    Nothing to see here...

I just bought Philips Xtreme Power bulbs from Powerbulbs as well. Also picked up some Philips Blue Visions for the fogs. Will post pics when they arrive.

Of course, Thats why i'm looking for these at the moment as to get the full proper headlight kit, auto motors etc etc make it actually work how its suppose to is a 2k kit from ecs tuning. I would NEVER simply place HID bulbs in without a full kit.

Ah ok cheers i could remember a sight that everyone recommended as well and its the power bulbs site.

        Cheers guys

EDIT: Would i need 4 for high beams as well or are they integrated?

Yeah the Philips Xtreme are going good in my Hella Celis headlights. Powerbulbs are awesome too, bought off them a few times now.

+1 for Philips Xtreme bulbs, I tried the BlueVision ones first which gave a very clear light but the Xtreme's are definitely brighter.

So are the power or the vision better?

Also it seems the h4 is dual filament which means that i only need a set.

Well according to the write-ups on the links you gave, the Xtreme Power gives 80% more light and the Xtreme vision gives 100% more light, so I would go with the Visions!

And yes, the H4 is a dual fillament so you only need one set of those.

i have narva ones first set was there brightest legal bulbs, were great but ended up in my gfs mirage as hers sucked.
i then for the next brightest (closer to white), they look nicer but the light seems to just bounce off the road and not light it if its raining.

Except he has a Bora, which has combined normal/high beam.

Well i got a set of the x-treme vision and well im a bit disappointed. They don't seem to do that much more than the OEM bulbs (osram bilux) But i could be wrong

My Philips X-Treme Power bulbs were considerably better than the OEM ones (I even tried a new set of OEMs first).

You will NOT get HID-like levels of lighting out of standard incandescent bulbs though.

Well after driving quite abit at night with my Osram Nightbreakers v2 I think they are worth every dollar.

Nice white light and considerably better range.
