I see. I really would like something that is a substantial ammount louder then stock (I'm still a ricer). I was under the impression that the forge DV's sound quite tasty?
They don't make hardly any noise at all. If you have read the write ups you'll know that the VW motor has a tendency to turn it's nose up at atmospheric dump valves.
Removing the airbox for a CAI will get you some noise but not a big woooosh with every change.

I found that once chipped the DV in my Leon could be heard a lot more than the std one. Not loud enough that folk in the street break their necks to see where the noise is coming from though!
Ha, old pictures hey. I dont have a digital camera and his house looks so much better then mine, so I had to use them. The car is good apart from a few teething problems:
- Front window got smashed by a rock
- Front bar got grazed by a car whilst parked, car drove off, didnt get plates.
- Passengar window FELL DOWN into the door whilst driving at 100, as the arm the holds it with the power steering smashed. Had to get that replaced.
- Various other little things.
Apart from that, all good ! You must be the friend he talked about when I purchased the car.
