Mk4 R32'ers

OK.. i know this is a dumb ass question BUT...... Where is the complience plate on the Mk4 R32???... I need to know what month the car was made as i cant get finance on a car over 3 years of age.. only up tp 3 years... sorry for such a dumb question guys/girls... thanks for your help.......
ohh while im at it does anybody know when they were made..month & year.. im hoping some were made in late 04?.....after july anyway...

Majority for Australia were made December 2003.
