Late to the thread but just wanted to emphasise this point as someone who has just been bitten by this issue in another VAG car. After a lovely summer's drive to have lunch at a winery in 35º heat I got back to the car to find the fogging mentioned by maxrob200, but didn't think too much of it at the time. When I got home and drove back into the garage the mirror adjusted to the lower light levels and with a 'pop' started dripping fluid.
The result of a few seconds worth of dripping was as follows:
I hate to think what would have happened if it had dripped down without me being in the car, especially as the car is often undriven for weeks at a time.
The mirror was easily fixed by replacing with a standard manual-flip style mirror, but the interior trim will be a much more costly replacement.
I saw this pic and then went for a drive and caught myself looking for oval patterns in my mirror and shining lights on it to make sure it still worked properly. Acid ready to drop in your lap... scary thought.
looks like it, but could be a Toureg, Cayenne, Q7 or R8
You're both right.
Yes it could be an Audi - the sat nav is a direct lift from the A6/A8 (albeit with a different logo when it starts up), and the aircon controls and vents 'borrow' heavily from the TT.
Def a gallardo, the switches for fuel, hazards etc, Jeremy Clarkson had a problem with the fuell filler when they did the best driving road, same switch.
plus in the top right there is a button to raise the nose
PLUS, i googled it and the console is the same

It's a strange quirk of the Gallardo - the fuel filler button won't release the filler door unless the engine is off and the key is out of the ignition.
