Earthing Issue??

Okay, so I fitted a Carbonio intake to my R32 about a month ago now. Of recent time when I drive @ night and apply heavy acceleration the headlights flicker out and the wipers come on...

Anyone know what this could be??

Check the battery terminals are tight. Did you remove the battery when doing the intake work ?

check the earth strap that goes directly to the gearbox from the battery area and the main earth from the battery to under the battery holder................vwtech............

Well completely removed the intake and battery this afternoon, jigged everything around a bit, retightened and checked all the wires (which seemed fine)

The base plate however wasn't that tight, one of the securing screws was partially stripped, sorted that issue are retightened, everything is fitting alot better and cleaner. Will see how I go after another bit of a night drive later on. Hopefully it is resolved.
