  • R32 hits 200,000k.........................

    Yep guys...200,000km's clocked over today!!

    The R's birthday pressie was:

    oil and filter change
    gearbox oil change
    rear diff oil change
    heldex oil and filter change
    fuel filter
    pollen filter
    spark plugs
    front pads
    rear pads

all genuine parts used yesturday morning for its big clock of 200k!

The R still goes awesome, sounds cool and last weekend on a long trip managed 7.6 L/100 on the freeway!

Now the golf is used every day the km will just keep going up...........so I must now be the proud owner of the highest KM golf 4 R32 in Australia? World?

200,000km hey. that'd be just broken in for a V6 VW engine right?
awesome to see the car is still going strong!

Awesome work, good to see I've got alot more enjoyment to come out of the R. Only at 100k now, but plenty to come. As to the highest km's, I think there was in the the states with something like 160k miles on it. Still a bit to go dylan, keep up the good work with the car.

That car should easily do 300 000 kilometers,I once did that in a MK2 1.8 Jetta.
