Some low life keyed my car..... FS .:R32

So took the miss's to dinner tonight for a quicky.. bout an hour and a half later returned to find the ****ing thing has been keyed.....

This is the second act of vandalism the R32 has been subjected to and i can't figure why it happens to it... big deep scratch all down the passenger side and along the bonnet...

Will of course take the car to be repaired prior to the sale, i just cant be ****ed with the negative attention anymore. Thousands spent on this thing, probably one of the best setup MK4 R32s around the country... just waiting to be boosted. Love this car dearly, but the pain i feel when this stuff happens is far to stressful, im just going to buy a getz or something.

Seems a shame to sell a car you love just because it has been vandalised, I would just make more effort to park in a public area and/or fit a proximity sensing alarm to it.

It was parked on Bay View Terrace last night between 9:15 and 10:30 pm, possibly the most well covered area in this whole city by CCTV after the hugely publicized serial murders of a decade or so ago, the police have been contacted bout i really doubt anything of value could come to fruition as far as finding the people/person who did it. i was parked between a Ferrari f360 and a 997 911, i just hope their cars were not also keyed, when i came back my car was the only one there...

It really does suck to sell it, but i just don't see the point of owning nice things if jealous idiots cant admire it without being destructive towards it.

sorry to hear it, i know the rage you get when youve found your cars been keyed- number 88 copped it bad, tail light to headlight both sides while i was parked in northbridge. oh, and the cops wont lift a finger, even if there is a camera pointed straight at it- cos mine had about three in plain sight.

its bad enough that people seem to enjoy opening doors onto them, and #1 got scraped in a carpark last month.... this is why we cant have nice things!

i have had mine for almost 4 years now and the only thing was a broken window by some kids coz it was parked in a dodgy area overnight in front of a house. they didnt take anything, just wanted to break a window i guess. Apart from that, my car hasnt been attracting any kind of attention, not from cops or anyone else eventho its lowered and it has 10% tint
You shouldnt be selling it just coz it got damaged. Thats what we pay insurance for. Make sure its parked somewhere you can see it and get quickly to it, otherwise drive your MK1

I have had similar thoughts to what you are going through. Had my number plates stolen (RR32R), attempted badging (cracked front grill) and a burger thrown at it. All on the North Shore in Sydney which is supposed to be pretty decent. I sometimes deeply wish i hated cars and would be happy in some beater but can't bring myself to do it. Good luck with the sale.

On a more positive note, did you do the rims yourself? Thinking of doing mine.

Sad news. I would cry if it were my car. In the year that I have owned it has had a been hit by numerous door, chipped windscreen, had a rock thrown at it and been attacked by hail (minor). But I still live it. These things are part of car ownership, unless you want to never use it. If I was in your position I would keep the car. Why let some low life ****heads determine the car you OWN and Drive.
