  • Big Brake install ... and caliper paint, exhaust??

hi all, i recently purchased pair of 312mm rotors with tt carriers from ecs, just wondering if anyone has done an install of these lately? do you / should you change the brake pads when changing rotors???

also would like to paint the carriers and calipers, any suggestion of what paint to use? and whether brush or spray is best???

also got the set of light weight lower pulleys, and will get them installed when i do my timing belt next week. anyone already have this mod?? is there a substantial difference in engine response????

last question... anyone running a AWE cat back exhaust, looking at purchasing and wondering how it rates against BB or APR or even Miltek.
thanks guys appreciate any feed back

Yes you should always put new pads with new rotors.

Have you considered that more rotating mass will need more stopping and so the net gain might not be great and that the bigger brakes may slow acelleration.

You would need high temp brake paint in a can. Mask everything well.
