Starter Motor????

Hi all, i have recently been having a little probs when starting my dub. when turning over the key the engine seems reluctant to start straight away. its like trying to turn over in thick molasses or honey. it turns over eventually and consistantly (so far) but still takes 3/5 secs while the starters struggling. was wondering if my starter is on the way out, if it can be recon'd or if ill need a new one. any advice would be welcomed thanks.

I'd be checking your battery first, sounds like its starting to struggle! Try jump starting it with another car, although it doesnt need to be jump started so to speak, the other car with the extra electrical charge will let you know if its your battery or not. Or just take the battery out and get it tested.
