will this short shifter work?

Hey fellas, ecs is having a sale on the tt short shifter and i was wondering if it'll fit my agu gti 1.8t? my car was built in 99.5 so i'm not sure hey!

here's the shifter:
Volkswagen Golf IV 1.8T > ES#648 TT Short Shift Kit - With Shifter Cable End - 8N0711046

yep should be fine, aslong as you have the golf club weight it will work
