  • C2 flash dyno result

Had the car on the dyno again today after swapping in the C2 (cams + high flow cat) tune.
    Car has the following mods:
    BMC CDA intake
Cat back exhaust (2.5" resonator, to 2.25" rear muffler)
    TT Cams

Previously, the car had a flash from a company called Superchips, so this comparison is vs another tune, not the standard ECU.
    Here are the results:
    Torque:

    Air/fuel ratios:

A quantifiable gain in low end torque, and smoothing of the mid range dip that I had previously, as well as the increased rev limit which will help on the track.
I also feel that the throttle response has been sharpened with the DBW too, but this may just be my mind.

I am considering now doing high flow cats and a bigger exhaust to try and crack 200hp, but not sure if its worth it.

Previously: Bora 4mo, cams, coilovers, tune, exhaust, brembo's etc

That's power at the wheels? Impressive, given that's near enough to the stock engine's flywheel power figure...
        Nothing to see here...

Yea I would say that the exhaust is choking it up for sure. Also 3" or 2.75 or complete 2.5" with high flow cats and keep the factory exhaust manifolds and mill them 4mm and just redo the down pipes(2.25) to the cats--Much better flow over stock and getting it modded(milled and new down pipes) is a whole lot cheeper than buying headers. Also maybe a set of light weight pullies- the 2 combined would get you over 200 easy. Nice numbers for sure. Did you mean Hp or Kw.
          Cheers J

yeah thats power to the front wheels.

Yeah I hear the factory headers are ok, so I may just do downpipes, cats, and bigger exhaust (with a Varex muffler)
Probably redo the whole lot so I can sell my catback.
