A few questions for parts.

Hey,

I just need some confirmation on some parts.

Now from a previous thread.

17524 - Oxygen (Lambda) Snesor Heating; B1 S1: Open circuit
P1116 - 35-00 - -
Readiness: 0110 1101
Apparently its buggered. Connection been looked at and ok, been sprayed with contact cleaner. Quote is $500

00281 - Vechicle speed sensor (G68 ) (37-00 - Faulty)
Also possibly buggered. Speedo works fine so does esc but possible cause of cruise control problems. Quote $250

01274 - Air flow flap positioning motor (V71) (37-00 - Faulty)
Not sure on this one as it seems to be working fine.

01318 - Control Module for injection pump (j399) (49-00 - No communications)
Not sure how this ones buggered if my car runs.

First, The oxygen sensor, Is this the one i am looking for? And which one of these is the best.

Third would it be worth getting this as-well as my engine is running a bit rough at the moment?

Last question is can any thing else on that list be fixed with parts from ecs?

Also check Ebay UK for the O2 sensor, there are some on there that are a direct replacement. The ECS ones are generic fit and require you to wire them in, this also results in an extra connection block in the loom.

If you are going to try and replace the O2 sensor yourself, get a lamba wrench as they are in the most awkward places!

So would it be worth paying for the extra $30 for the OEM ones? I thought the OEM were the bosch ones?

Also Does anyone know which of those speed sensors is required?

Third are CAI any good specifically the ecs ones?

Ah, sorry, just checked the links you posted and both are for the direct fit parts. I went for the cheaper universal one, which I wish I hadn't, still haven't fitted it because it just seems too much work.
