  • Rear seat delete options.

    Hey all,

I think there's a post on VW vortex or something about this, but I kind of just want ideas etc to start with.

I've removed the rear seats from my MK4 and have got a UNIbrace to put in, but im a little stumped as to options for a space filler. I don't want any subs/speakers in it, i just want a lightweight option that will sit flush with the existing floor.

Anyone have any reccomendations/ideas? Also for securing/anchoring of the false floor.

    -Drew.

Yeah love the look man; I'm sort of half way through building a box now, but am not 100% satisfied with it, nor the weight. What materials did you use for it?

Just so you know if you do this. The seat belt attachment points have to be drilled out and engineered and a plate needs to be fitted specifying that the car has been converted to a 2 seater. That's strictly speaking though to be completely legal.
            Cheers,
