Lost Bora key

Lost a key to my Bora
Does anyone know where to get them @ a resonable price?

What sort of key was it? Flip key with lock/unlock buttons?

You can get blanks on eBay, or I suspect ECS Tuning sell them, both will be a damned site cheaper than purchasing from VW locally. You'll need to get the key itself cut and then the transponder programmed to suit your car (or the car to suit the key), that may well involve a VW service department.

The key is in 2 parts. My Polo only came with one key. I ordered the key end section from VW. It was around $180 I think and came already cut for the car. They charged $88 I think to code it to the car. I bought the other section, the bit with the remote keys on it from Fuzion here on this site for around $45 as I recall and coded that section myself. So it worked out a fair bit cheaper. I'm not sure if he still has any available. You could maybe PM him if that is the way that you want to go.

got one off ebay with a new blank for a quarter of that price, out of the uk from memory.and coding can be done simply without dealers help
