Looking at buying a Bora V6 4motion with around 60k on the clock as a second car. Wasn't really looking for one but a guy I know is selling one at a really good price so considering I've always wanted a 6 pot dub I'm very tempted. Anyone here with one than can offer any advise or thoughts about what to look out for and so on would be greatly appreciated. Does the car sound a lot angrier with a cat back exhaust? Cheers.

Mate what do you what to know about these, they are a top car and one guy i can recommend you pm is DubstarV6 his is a sleeper mate, tidy and angry.
Obvious stuff will be regular services mate, as no timing belt comes into play the oil services are crucial on this motor. Same goes for the Haldex. Good luck and hope you have fun if you buy it, tons of info on here on them use the search feature mate.

Great car.
Mine had a few issues with switches but they were easy and cheaply sourced from ebay sellers in China.
Had to replace the MAF and one of the coil packs but that's normal for a car of this age, pretty routine stuff.
I regularly tow 1400kg of tandem trailer with mine, more than enough get up and go.
Fantastic handling in all conditions can't believe how well it launches and corners in the wet.

With only 60,000km on the clock, the suspension should still be fairly fresh, so you shouldn't have too much issue there. As it ages, I'd heartily recommend a front suspension refresh kit from ECS Tuning (replaces the aging bushes with new ones, as well as replacing the rear lower control arm bushes with the upgraded version from the R32.
As indicated, with a good service history, you should be laughing.Nothing to see here...

I can get great economy on the highway, but I don't do much highway driving unfortunately.Nothing to see here...
