Do 17" inch rims look to small?

    i think 17s are ok depending on the style, the stock bora 17s and wheels such as BBS RS look good (not just becuase i have them...) otherwise 18s you cant go wrong. depends on the colour and finish also, bright or machine finished seems to always look bigger in my mind

      On Sydney roads in particular, 18"s would be a PITA.

      The right 17s look fine. These for instance:



      And the Bora Sports look nice too:



      (Which I also happen to have a set of)...

            there was a set on ebay the other day for $200!!!! but got withdrawn before then end...?

              Mine are 18s

                I think mine look a little small, but I have faith they will look alright when I drop it. If I had bigger wheels the ride would be horrible on my roads as is without lowering. Mine is obviously still 4x4 ride height. For now

                  They're the 17" version - they were an R-Line factory/dealership option on some Mk4s/New Beetles.

                  I have a receipt from a dealer for $2800...

                    I like my 17"s but I'll be going to some BBS 18" when my tyres are worn out
