What to do...?

Hi all,
was planning to paint my headlights before i fit them, but now im unsure...
there's three options im looking at:
1- leave as standard
2- paint just the 'outer' chrome part black
3- paint both outside chrome and main headlight black (joey mod)

if it was on a car other then black id go number 3, as below

number 2 would be the piece pointed out below

Guess i could always go number two and then follow up with 3 if it doesn't look any good...
What do people think?

Where's the "other" option?

Given the condition of my lights, I'm looking to replace them with projector-style lights which look different to stock.

There's also the S5-style ones, they may look OK on a black car (too busy on a white car like mine, but the black would blend in with the body).

haha those checks are cool, saw someone do that same part in pink as well. dont think its for me though.

Thought about it, but i couldnt find any good quality ones i liked, found a few if i had a white car. dont want it to look tacky or stand out to much.

i dunno, without even seeing it my first though it jap (not saying theres anything wrong with that), maybe on other cars, dont think its for me.
the bora is all black and chrome, so its one of those two i think..

I've decided to go with option 2 to start with.
Can anyone recommend a type of paint? I went into a paint place with glossy enamel in mind, but they suggested a satin finish...?
after read multiple joeymod threads I'm now more confused with what to use.
Keeping in mind its on a black car with clear lenses id like it to look pretty similar to the paint.
Any thoughts?

Be aware that any headlights you buy must suit a RHD market (most of the ones on Parts4Euro are for LHD markets).

For the first set im going to go black to keep it classy and clean, want that OEM+ look.
I plan do something bright or rat with the other set, along with some other parts, for a laugh and a different look to stand out.

No need for new lights guys, i already have a few sets. im wondering what type of paint/finish i need for the black?

More than anything I would say high temp due to the globes head output. But speak to RayRay086 he has done a fair few headlights joey styles
