          Hi Nick,

Have replied to your PM, for everyone else, the trim is the just the standard piece that comes with the Alpine head unit. Guess I was just lucky that it blends in perfectly!

What head unit did you get?

it's fairly simple. Remove radio, Remove pocket and place the frame for the double din unit into the slot. Wire up and you should be done. The one above shows how to do all that.

I have a 7" JVC DVD and i needed that plastic frame. I also got the antenna plug and the wiring plug so didnt have to touch any of the stock wiring. Its a perfect fit

there isnt a frame but i just went back to autobarn and got a DNA brand double din cradle and it fits sweet as all i did was poprivet the cradle into place and its a perfect fit. most double din aftermarket headunits dont come with a cradle

where did you end up sourcing the frame from, balkanac?

and did you use the Aerpro variety wiring adapters?

                        Thanks,

I had issues with my Pioneer head unit in my R32 due to it not coming with a cradle or fascia. I went back to JB and ordered the Pioneer cradle and plastic cover/frame. Looks great now.
