Which fuse is it to disable the haldex on a bora 4mo?
Want to run the car on a 2wd dyno and want to make sure its properly disabled for obvious reasons...
You can run on a 2WD dyno without any issues no worries. Plenty of people have done it including myself with no dramas. You won't burn anything out. All that will happen is that you will get the traction control light come up. The system doesn't even throw a fault that needs to be reset. Once you plug the fuse back in all is good. You can also run on a 4WD dyno without any issues as well. You will have approximately 30% drivetrain loss in 4WD mode and of course slightly less in 2WD mode but not as good as a normal FWD car.
Fuse 31 is the Haldex fuse on the R32, Audi TT and I'd wager money on it being the same on the Bora V6 4motion as well. It should be the only 5A fuse in the lower section which contains the larger fuses (larger in physical size that is).
