find some specialists around sydney and get them to diagnose and offer some alternatives so you know what you're up against and can work on a plan of attack. Did you replace with a standard clutch or heavy duty? With the new clutch, why didn't get the box looked at while it was being done?

Might be worth nursing till you have consistent diagnostics. As people have said, if it's crunching on the way down the gears, it's liekly to be synchro's, if it's bad all the time, the box could be full of metal chards so flushing it might help for the short term.

yeah i got an opinion at the time, basically they thought it was 'ok' and you only rebuild when you have to. Didn't think about asking them to open it up though... And i was told that the new clutch would actually help my issues so but it didn't. Its the vr6 clutch w/ecs light weight flywheel...
So yeah i was annoyed that i wasn't able to get it fixed during the clutch install.

Yeah sorry, my bad - I was thinking of a clutch cable vs hydraulic, but obviously they're all hydraulic.
