Looking for tools for removing wheels from VW Golf Mk4.
Does anyone have in Brisbane I will pay if I can borrow just for 5 minutes to take wheel off.
Thanks
you'll need to find someone with the correct security lug key, that one has 22 points on it i think, mine for example has about 17 points.
best bet is to go to a dealer and buy one for about $20-$30. bit of a rip but not too bad.
Or you could go to the parts counter, tell them you want the security lug, the will come out with a set from the workshop, and when they are at your car, say "actually i only need to take it off", so get your wrench out, and use the key then and there.

It looks fairly OEM to me.
Call a wrecking yard see what they have. I was told today that you could find one that almost fits then bang the crap out of it until it fits tight, then undo the nut. I guess if you have 4 to do then this will not work out well.
Who is your fav VW mechanic ? If you get along call them ask to borrow one for a few hours ?
MK4 GTI - Sold
MK5 Jetta Turbo - Sold
MK5 Jetta 2.Slow - Until it dies.
I have been today (Thursday) to all wrecking yard, tyre shops, all mechanics and no one has any similar tool. I was take pics to my phone. Going tomorrow to VW to see what happened. Unbeliveable that people in Brisbane don't have that tools or they are don't like to give to me.
