  • Wheel Colour...

    R32 replica rims should arrive tomorrow.
    Tossing up whether to paint/powdercoat them or not....

    Silver:


    gunmetal/anthracite


    Thoughts, or other colour suggestions?
    Current: '04 Astra SRI Turbo - EDS IPF Flash, 3" TBE, Quaife LSD
    Previously: Bora 4mo, cams, coilovers, tune, exhaust, brembo's etc

    Gunmetal just looks dirty in that pic haha, although you wouldn't have to wash the wheels as often that way!

      greys are prob best, just not straight black...

      What colour are Mazda 3 MPS rims?

              Grey on Gav's S3 looks good with the contrast, but i'm not so sure about grey on black.

              Yeah good idea to try the silver first - you can always powercoat them later, not so easy to go back!

                Go a shadow/black chrome... Will cost a little bit extra, but the end result is well worth it. Here is a couple of pics from my old MPS.

                  painted or powdercoated (or factory)?
                  I like the gunmetal/shadow chrome so it takes the "brightness" off the wheels

                            I'd choose shadow/black chrome over gun metal or grey.
                            Nice to have a bit of sparkle on a black car.
                            Mk IV Golf GTI - BMP - GIAC chip, R32 wheels, KW coilovers, rear swaybar.
