    Quick question

Will this key fob work with a 2001 bora im guessing so as it says it does but mine doesn't come with the 3 buttons only two. Also will the dealer charge for a cut and code of a new key?

Your standard key fob pulls into two sections - the three-button bit replaces the standard two-button piece that you have. Recoding can be done without seeing a dealer (VAG-COM I believe, maybe VAG-TACHO). goodfella on here has done it (fuzion was selling the three-button fobs, and could likely give you instructions as well).
    Nothing to see here...

if you have the right key yes.

I had a stock 2 button remote in R32. Just bought a three button half and swapped over the old key blade half to the new 3 button base.

Then the rear hatch would open separately with the middle button without unlocking other doors.

Did absolutely no key coding or reprogramming to make this work.

Heh thats funny cause the guy from VW told me that it wouldn't work heh. Also if i get this and do the upgrade for the windows so they can roll up and down with the key fob will it be the newer version?

All I know is the actual IMMO chip is in the key head part with the blade, so if you are keeping that part you wont need to recode the key to the car.

Just from my experience. I phoned my local VW dealer parts guy and quoted him the part number for the key fobs that Fuzion was selling. I was told that it would not work on the early Bora. I think it had to be late 2002 before it would work.

However he told me that it would work for my Polo. I did buy the key fob from Fuzion for my Polo and I programmed it no problems at all with my Vag checker. It took around 60 seconds.
