although there is a mob 'webasto' that specialise in them, and in my years that i was working on cars, they seemed great. but the buttons did look out of place.

Welcome to the R32 fold. Car looks pretty tidy. As others have said though, leave the sunroof off the list.

Looks like I'm leaving the sunroof of the list. I will miss it though. Great in Queensland to get the heat quickly out of your car.....

Couple of questions -

1. Does anybody have peeling on the centre console around the gear stick?
2. What is recommended for removing the black build up on the exhaust tips?

Dainese, I noticed you have the APR tune as well. Do you get any flat spots between 2000 & 3000 when accelerating hard on 2nd?

Common issue. http://www.ecstuning.com/ES259773/ is the solution.

goodfella and I are working up another GB with ECS if you're interested. We got close to USD$15 off the price of that component for someone earlier this year - not a huge saving, but when combined with shipping being cheaper in a GB, it's money in your pocket rather than someone else's!

from previous experience the centre console piece from ECS is specific for left had drive cars, the unit is basically the opposite to what we have here and ash tary etc slopes the other way (i have one sitting in my garage). Best to go to a wrecker and find a decent one which shouldn't be that hard which is what I ended up doing . . ..

Ah, interesting. They can obtain any OEM part mind you, so if you have the part number for the RHD version, they'd be able to get it.

Welcome mate, i asked about that one too, but bought the 33000kms BMP in Adelaide, had it sent over and i'm loving it too!!

My Gear surround has the same issue, very slight peeling going on there, if there is a group buy i'm in for sure.

vwsport was right, and there's a RHD-specific version. I'm ordering one for my car, if anyone else wants one, I may be able to get a few in at a good price in the follow-up ECS GB, let me know if interested!
