what is the best offset for out mk4 golfs anyone care to enlighten me?

  • #2
depends on a lot of factors. what width are the wheels? what look do you want to go for? what size tyres are you going to run?

            8" et30 front
            8" et20 rear
Rear guards are wider so can squeeze some more offset in

this website calculates how much poke or otherwise you will get by changing width and offset

Ive got 19 x 8's +35 all round. Fronts sit pretty much dead flush with the gaurds, but I'd like the rears to be another 5-8mm further out so theyd sit flush too.

I have 18*8 ET45, but it sucks and rubs on the coilovers. Now have 17*7 ET25 and 17*9 ET20. fronts are flush, rears poke. You have way to much to spend on your car! im a bit jealous!!
