    got em today!

    got enough gap?

    nice and clean!

profile (road is slightly sloped so gap is probably a little bigger than this)

very happy with them, and in no rush to get it lowered cos i think it looks good.
    (plus need time to save...)

haha, guilty as charged. i requested KU31's, and they took 50 bucks off without me even asking.
they're actually pretty good. plus i made sure the tyres were new (week 8 this year)

only problem i have is they didn't give me security lugs like they said, so i went to put on my old security lugs just then, but i realised that the new lugs (and i pressume wheels) are actually conical seat bolts!
Another annoying thing is my lug caps don't seem to fit in the holes.
do normal r32's have the same lug caps or are they different?
and because of the smaller size hole for the lugs, my tyre iron actually scratches the cavity when you undo the bolts, which is annoying (but not visible as it scratches deep in)
might grind down the corners of my tyre iron slightly...

it would be ineresting to compare the weight with original Aristo wheels!

i know! i asked him did he know how much they weighed, so he picked one up and goes "about 10kg" haha
genuine ones are 27lbs, so quite heavy. and if these are half an inch wider, who knows!

Where can I buy the 18" Aristos?

                Hi,

The Aristos look great on the Mk4. I have a 2004 Mk4 Sport and I'd like to put the same wheels on... where did you buy yours from? I'm in Melbourne.

I'm also looking at adjustable coilovers as well so I can adjust ride and height. If anyone can recoemmend a suspension place in Melb that can do Golfs, I be most appreciative.

                Thanks in advance

Just to quantify this in apples v apples:

                  27 pounds = 12.246994 kilograms

So if Mr Popeye at Tempe is calibrated by Wedderburn Scales, then your carrying about 10kg less unsprung weight than OEM Aristo rims

ha yeah i'd say the reps are probably heavier.

i got some wheel hop yesterday with these wheels, and its crazy how much more crazy/violent the car shakes now with these heavier wheels. but fortunately my tyres grip a lot more so this only happens if i actually try to get wheelspin... so no biggie.
