[QUOTE=Big_M;468401]I have seen the turbo one, must admit tempting just think i'd rather do it myself if wanted to go down that route. Hows your turbo working out ?QUOTE]
As for the $ to HP ratio an Na will be cheeper but a turboed R is a Ripper for a few thousand more considering it has some top of the line mods. If you are planning to do it your self plan on a 12-20,000$ budget. My turbo set up is great Im loving it-It feels good to and when you pass a 911 turbo or a W427HSV
The Turbo R on carsales has been talked about on here too and has a bad history, i also considered it as the kit is pretty good and not cheap, but after hearing some horror stories i steered clear. The Supercharged one looks good too, one owner from new etc, i'm thinking the same as you though Matt, i'd rather do that my own way myself if i was going for some force feeding...
The Blue Pearl one in Bris had also been talked about, it looks good and last week the guy was basically saying that its going to be traded in and was asking for offers, he'd probably let it go for $25K.
But if you don't want Blue, the Black one is looking good, correct number of doors, 6 cylinders and power to all 4 wheels!! Sorry GTI sellers!!
The blue one was a steal! Turns out he didn't trade it in, probably found out what the dealer was going to give him for it... Instead he took it up to Mackay Harbour along with his new job. Still for sale, however you'll be making a bigger drive to get it.

Matt
Thanks for the info on the Turbo'd one. I thought I had read about it before but hadn't had chance yet to search for it.
The Blue one grabbed my interest for sheer value for cashola. But I saw Platzie's posts and didn't want to step on anyones toes. Plus it's Blue and while Black ones are available I'd rather a Black one.
Supercharged R32 !! Must have missed that one.
On that note, SuperCharger v's Turbo !! I know can of worms I'm guess I'm opening. But guessing there is lots of for's and against's for each application.
Still I like info and debates

Oh sorry man, i didn't mean to deter anyone from buying it. Hmm, i prefer the blue colour than black, it only came in R32s so it's more exclusive. But what ever floats your boat hey, i'd still be happy with a black R32.
You don't have your eyes on that black one with 127,00kms on it do you? I want to see if i can get dad to buy it, bit too many kms on it than i'd like but will see what happens.
Yeah thats wise, the one with 62 on it is too much for me . Yeah since the blue one had it's price dropped from $35,000 down to $28,000 the bloke who owns the black one had to drop his price. Still wouldn't pay that much for it though.
Haha sorry, getting off topic and i'm hijacking your thread. Good luck with the 62,000kms one.

Matt.
Not really a can of worms tbh, basically the Supercharger will be ALOT cheaper than a Turbo set-up, and the Turbo will give alot more power, all depends on budget really. The tricky bit is the ECU and the tune as our ECU's are different from the US.
Have a look on Youtube at some of the insanely quick R32T's!! I saw a HPA Twin Turbo one in England years ago, it completely destroyed a BMW E46 M3, was ridiculously fast!
The VF engineering Supercharger kits are good for 350 odd bhp too, i'm sure it would be fun but most people seem to get bored of them and end up going Turbo eventually. Still, way off for me, i'd be happy with just a standard one for now, but its fun watching them.
