            Not a safe "upgrade" either.

              Thanks for that Treza,

Im aware of brake bias issues and the addition of unsprung weight I like the idea of it though and I remember reading that the system in these cars is smart enough to automatically adjust the brake bias.

I could be wrong in any case, I'll do it if it doesnt cost me thousands.

If you fit RS4/6 8 piston calipers and 365 x 34 front rotors , then the 312's are perfect in the back:

PM if you are looking for: R32 rear sway bar; R32 suspension springs; Euro Headlight switches

I would assume any electronic brake control system would be based around the stock brakes. Putting bigger brakes on the front is common on some models, bigger on the rear could lead to some serious problems under heavy braking if the components are not correctly matched.

How does the car know that you have upgraded the brakes?
Thinking about the Traction, Stability and ABS controllers I can't see how they would ever know that the reason a car is losing control due to a poor brake bias issue and therefore adjust it to suit?

Graeme, as per my two posts above, how would upgrading the rear help?
My German is not so good either, actually it is non existent.
