IF they have HID bulbs, then there are requirements for them to make them legal (washers and auto-levelling).

If they're projectors with standard filament bulbs, they'd probably be OK.

Make sure the beam pattern is appropriate for Australian roads - most of the replacement lights I've seen are designed for LHD markets.
    Nothing to see here...

Are you referring to the blacked out headlights with the angel eye rings? ie similar to those you see on bmw's?

If so what Manaz mentioned is correct. If they are HID equipped, then you do require the auto levelling but not sure about the headlight washers.

Also as to whether they are legal or not depends on what context you are asking? If your wanting to know if they are legal or not because of not wanting to have issues with the police, then one thing to keep in mind is regardless of whether something is illegal or not, if it's flashy, grab's attention and a cop doesnt like it, more than likely they are still doing to issue you with a defect. I've had a friend defected for the angel eye rings and hid's before.

Oh and with the black tail lights, im not sure about QLD, but there seems to be a craze here in Victoria with that. People attack their tailights with a can of Night Shades or either buy the tinted lights. THAT i know for a fact is illegal due to visibiliy issues for the driver behind you, but with the tinted lights, i believe they require to have reflectors in them that conform to Australia Road standards in order for it to be legal, but then as i mentioned before, If a cop wants to defect you, then the will unfortunately
