  • Front suspension refresh kit

So the golf is getting it's Christmas present during the holidays (please don't tell it, it's a surprise).

I bought the stage 3 refresh kit a few weeks back and a mate and I are going to fit it. Does anyone have the link to a how to? I'm sure I saw one somewhere but can't find it.

    Thanks

Yip. Went with the ECS stage 3 kit. I figured because the exchange rate was in our favour and shipping was a large chunk of the price i'd just go the whole hog.

Was going to hang off fitting until i get bilsteins and eibachs but the bushes really need doing now.

I've done the stage two kit - on a car with more than roughly 80,000km, I think you'd gain benefit in going for one of the kits rather than just the top mounts - the old stuff wears out, and really contributes to "sloppiness" in the front end.
        Nothing to see here...

+1 - also did the stage 2 refresh a few mths back, at the same time as getting a set of Bilsteins installed. Well worth it!

I'm interested, next year definately. Would be worthwhile to do when I install coilovers.

I'm happy to run the GB if nobody else wants to take it on...
