I see most of you guys have cool cars with all the mods, some old , some new, so us porpers feel a little left out. I always wanted to enhance a small car but the finances say no . so starting off slow looking to put a sports exhaust about 300 bucks, just to give a little note any one with ideas on the next step .Maby mod chip cold air intake . I realise its not going to change much in the way of performance but cant afford a supercharger or turbo yet .I would like the gti or r32 but the power is not that exciting , so any ideas would be appreciated CHEERS braddo1972

I find the power in the R32 to be intoxicating - it just comes on and keeps coming and coming and coming... I'm not so big on the stock GTI, but some of the modded ones have pretty good power outputs.

Honestly, if you want to chase power, you'd be better selling your current car and buying a GTI to work on - much better power gains to be had there. Adding a turbo or supercharger to an NA engine is a lot of (expensive) work.

Clutch biting at the top is generally a sign that the clutch is worn. Worth having it
      investigated.
      Nothing to see here...

They've come down to less than $30k these days I think. They're more than just badges too - the bodykit is different, wheels, etc, the only person you'd fool by badging your car as an R32 would be yourself!
