side indicator

Hi guys,

im Just wondering if any of you guys know how to remove the side indicator cover on 01 bora? one of the light are blown and need replacing and i've been trying to remove it. I dont want to force it and damage the body and the cover.

get ur hand behind the inner guard there is a metal clip on the back of it push that and it should pop out the bulb comes out from behind there isnt a cap its a sealed part

You don't even need to get your hand in behind the guard. If you push the indicator in the direction of the spring clip (towards the front or back of the car) it will give enough so you can pop it out from the opposite to the spring clip. Pretty easy to work out which end has the spring clip as it is the one which will give more.

Trent's got it spot on ! They are not too hard to get off and should be able to remove using just your hands. I think from memory on the R i had to push the edge of the indicator towards the front of the car and you should be able to pull it out.
