Stupid ACT Roads... Pics inside

Driving home around 15 minutes ago and heard something hit the bottom of my car, started to hear something scrapping so i slowed down etc and got the car home safely

to find this securely stuck to the bottom of my car....





Quick question, What does this plastic thing do, and can i get a new one or should i get try and fill in the hole with some kind of filler?

Wow that is insane !

The plastic is a bung.
Just bung it back in you'll be right, maybe tape up the tear from the inside.

You should put it back or next time it rains you will get water in the car, either into a hollow section or the cabin carpet.
