rear windscreen wiper

I was just wondering about the laws in Victoria. Are hatchbacks allowed to not have a rear windscreen wiper?

I want to "delete" mine, but wanna be sure i don't draw unnecessary attention.

As long as you are not straying 0.000003 km/h above posted speed limit they probably wont give a rats.

I think there was a delete on a UK forum.

The guy then rotated the jet to face backwards and used it to squirt water on tailgaters.

If you are worried about it you can replace the ugly stock one with a Polo rear wiper, they look much nicer.

If you want to delete it couldn't you just buy a rubber grommet from clark rubber to plug the hole instead of buying a delete from o/s?

There are proper glass plugs available from overseas made specifically for this application. IMO it would look much nicer than just a rubber plug. But the rubber plug might be more reversable.

I plan to fit one of these for summer.

Liked the fact they have an O-ring and screw in rather than glue/silicon. A friend is currently looking into making a similar design.
