Well I sold my GTI today so I guess there is hope for us MK4 GTI owners after all.
Less than what I wanted but a guy came and looked at it yesterday, then said he loved it and paid me today and took the car.
I wanted $15K and got a bit under $14,000 for the car and because of the lower price I kept a few parts which I've sold already. I also kept the brand new front mount kit which was meant to go with the car but is now up for grabs...
So in the end I will end up with a little under $15,000 which goes towards...
...My S15 which is sitting at the docks in Tokyo and gets shipped this Friday. A couple of weeks at sea, a couple of weeks compliance and then rego is leaving me carless for some time. I am officially carless and fearing the pubic transport - yes PUBIC. For now though I have my eye on my wifes MK5 Sportline, which I bought for her as a gift recently...
What do you think my chances are of taking it back for a few weeks? Hmm, I think I know the answer to that.
