  • MK4 Wagons in Japan

In Japan at the moment and I have seen heaps of MK4 Golf Wagons. I've gotta admit I didn't even know they existed...

Are these a Jap spec only thing?

Nope they are available in europe too and are called variants. We only got the b5 passat variant which is rare itself too (here anyway).

There is also a mk3 variant.

They have 4 motion ones too. Loads of sweet combinations. Not everything was done in RHD though.

          Mk 4 wagons

          Hi all,

I travel to New Zealand quite often for work and have seen a few MK4wagons over there.

They would be imports from somewhere...not sure where they would be coming in from though.....maybe one of the kiwis on the forum might be able to shed some light on them.

They'd be mostly jap or singapore imports. Mostly 2.0L N/A but there are quiet a few V6 4Motions and someone on one of the kiwi forums did a 1.8T GTI variant and I believe it won't be long b4 someone does a R32 Variant using the 4 motion platform

I saw them in the States and Canada a couple of years ago,and they were called the JETTA WAGON THERE.
Europe had the basic models as the GOLF wagon, and the more upmarket versions were called the BORA wagon.
