The Carousel?
I can't seem to find a track map that names the corners, is that big Hairpin at the end of the (more or less) straight?

Thanks, Moderator
Thank you Mick. I'd like to make it clear to all that we are not in any way associated with vortex. One of the reasons that this forum began was because many people were looking for a place where they could enjoy talking about their cars with no fear of being put down or being put under any type of pressure, emotional or otherwise.Originally posted by mikinozPlease refrain from trying to bring Vortex politics to this forum. n: Thank you.

It had the full Oettinger K04 set up on it, with the high flow intake tube, BMC CDA, full exhaust. It ran nicely & was quick - torque was the trick, plenty of good useable stuff.
Had Carrera coil overs & big ABD sway bar sets, stock brakes with EBC Greenstuff pads - and we wen't with Castrol SRF brake fluid after we cooked the stock stuff at a track day. We pulled the K04 off it when i sold it back in 2003.
It was a 99' model & was one of the first dozen cars to hit our shores back then.Last edited by Guest; 29-01-2007, 04:16 PM.

No, it did not.Originally posted by Guy_H View PostIThe problem was the grass was so wet that the car accelerated when it hit it.
What you may have (edited) felt was the rate of deceleration decreasing, not actual acceleration. Our bodies perceive it as the same thing, but it's not even close...

What was your reason for selling it? It was such a good example of a nice mk4.Last edited by 99gti; 04-07-2007, 01:56 PM.Originally posted by WhubbsieThere is nothing better than a polo badge, thats why you will notice Veyron drivers with polo gti badges.... they know where the true sizzles at!

Hey George, way back in 03' I ordered a B6 A4 TQ (Our Imola Yellow one) and cancelled a TT order as I just got the news we were going to have to cart baby seats around!
Needed the AWD itch to be scratched.
Back in Golfs again now

Lol - I am pretty sure I had it almost stopped on the black stuff, but when it hit the green stuff it took off again - you could be right - the whole thing happened in a second or two.
