Both days i had overheating issues in the pug. Radiator hose 1st time and then the thermo. The laps it worked i was doing 1.21's but in traffic. Could have done a 1.19 or high 18 if all worked well. Think i could have gotten the R32 down to the 1.15.5 if i had a few more laps.

So $145 for the rim to be fixed...pretty badly damaged they said...
AND the extra exciting news is the tyre is screwed too.
Anyone got a spare Eagle F1 lying around they don't want?
Just a heads up but if you are going to do any more track days the next time you will want to protect the headlights as well.
I lost a Xenon at QR following a Cup Car out of the pits who was on full wets and threw up a rock a smashed the lens of the Xenon. Lesson learnt was you cant replace just the lens on the Xenon and a replacement light is 1200 bucks so 150 for a rim isn't that bad
Yea i have clear protectors on mine so not too worried about that but cheers for the headsup. Anyone got a full set of wheels and tyures for sale as another alternative?
$145 to fix the rim is peanuts really. When you consider it normally costs around $70-$100 just to fix some gutter rash on a rim that really isn't too bad.
Cheers,
Trent
