Mate, it would be worth trying to find out if any forum members are taking advantage of these deals on the large items like clutch kits, brake discs etc and seeing if you can get your dipstick tube chucked in for the ride. I think I read over at Vortex that Al from Brissy was ordering the R32 discs. It wouldn't hurt to ask.
On the stuff they're not offering cheap shipping on, check out PriceUSA - they were substantially cheaper on shipping on my stage 2 refresh kit than ECS themselves...

unless the $649.95 is actually including 100bucks postage 2 aus??
but even still they r hella cheap.

They've already set up a link to the Aussie shipping deal for those coilovers and you're correct they've built-in a very reasonable shipping cost.
But if you need to experiment and add the ones you've linked to the cart and go to checkout and put in Australia and an Oz postcode, it adds $271.00 shipping and you'll end up with a total of $821.00 shipped as compared to the linked $649.00.
The prices they've given us do include a built in shipping component, but it's greatly reduced from what we'd historically paid. It seems they are doing this for selected items that they are setting up links for us to use. For instance as Al (quozl) stated for the R32 rotors, you would be getting all four discs for around the same price as VW Australia charges for 1 rotor.
For me, they were pretty quick - 4 days from when their agent in the US received the parts - there's a thread in the Recommended repairers and parts suppliers forum by me about them here.
I know one other person here had a slightly less positive experience with them though due to their agent being away for a while, and that delaying the on-sending of the parts.
+1 on reviews on the coilovers. how much do you think they will change the rideheight? obviously they're adjustable, but will max height be like a stock golf etc?
infact i'm tempted to get in on both of these deals, just no idea which clutch i would get...?
