  • Well it looks like they're serious!

Looks like ECS is getting serious about helping us Aussies who want to get our hands on their stuff, nice shipping deal to Oz on clutch kits now and FK coilovers:

Woohoo! It's about time. And the best part is ECS is by far the best online stockist of awesome VW parts that I've come across.

We're you referring to clutch or coilovers? If suitable..I would consider the clutch kit given the free shipping would save a few bob.

The other stuff's probably just free shipping in the US - quite a few of their items already had this.

As an example, the shipping on the stock R32 front rotors item to Australia is ~USD$300. The "free shipping to Australia" version oft he R32 front rotors are around USD$150 more expensive than the standard version - so the shipping is roughly half what it would otherwise be.

This is good for two reasons - shipping's cheaper, and that's good - but it also means some more expensive stuff may not slip under the AUD$1000 limit to avoid customs duties and GST when the stuff arrives locally.
                  Nothing to see here...

Yep, there is a shipping component built into the new deals for us Aussies, but the charges are hugely reduced and the price they are quoting is the shipped to Oz price, what you see is what you pay at checkout.

This is going to remove a big barrier for many of us wanting their stuff.

I've got to say to that their service is excellent, I just returned a faulty R1 diverter valve 2 weeks ago, no questions asked, and a new one arrived this morning. They even threw in some other parts that I wanted in the package as reimbursement to me for my return costs.

We definitely need to see if they can work out a good deal on these. Seems like a lot of us are interested.
