Is there any issues with screw in racks other than having holes in your roof?

I only looked as far as the Rola ones as i could get them super cheap. Others might do it so don't take what i said as 100%. But the advice i got from my mate was that most seem to not have the removable ones for R's as they have curtain airbags and are 3 door. Something like that anyway.
