Roof Aerial Rubber Gasket, most models : group buy...

Found a supplier of the rubber base gaskets for the roof mounted aerial on ebay uk.

This is just the rubber sealing ring, not the whole base.

Generic seal for most models , not just the Mk4

Since they are coming from the UK, we'll save a heap on postage if we order them together.
Price is 2.95 UK pounds - cheap - plus postage.

Hi guys, looks like there's plenty of interest, so i'm just going to go ahead and buy a heap.
I'm sure more people will be interested down the track so if I'm left with any they will get sold.

Once i receive them I will PM people asking for postal addresses, then work out how much it costs to post individually or in pairs if you requested it.

Actually, I'll take 2, my cars a 2004 Golf Gti and its completely missing.

Hey all, not trying to burst anyones bubble, but these don't look quite like the right ones..... When mine split and I pulled it out, it was on oval shape with a flat base and a small circular hole for where the antenna bolts to the roof....

If these are indeed the correct ones, i'll grab one too though Dylan!!

haha dont do that to me. I just went and pulled mine off (mine is only missing a notch out of it). It looks them same holding it up against the picture...
Looking at there second picture with it on the aerial it looks the same to me? Anyone else one else's thoughts before i buy them?

I see what gavs is saying:
It's just the ring around the base and doesn't have a bottom to it that the base sits on, however this seems to still be the bit I want

I urge all of those interested to check the link in the original post carefully, to make sure it is what you want.

Once they are bought, that's it. (not very expensive though)

For what its worth, this is the item I mentioned in the other thread, same ebay seller etc.

Mine had a bit of a bump on the bottom which I sanded off. They sit perfectly and look the biz after a day or 2 in the sun.

This is the part you want for a MK4 Golf.
