Bora V5 cold start trouble

hey guys,

I have a cold start problem with my V5, it will start for approx 1 second, then stall. If this happens it wont restart unless I apply a small amount of throttle. It also wont start with the MAF disconnected.
It will then idle quite rough, at around 700-800rpm.
(If it starts normally it will idle around 1200rpm for half a minute or so before dropping).
Is there a temp sensor for cold start and where is it?

Sounds like a sensor to me. I'm not sure if the V5/V6 Boras had the same issue with the temp sensors that the Golfs did but they were susceptible to failure. They're very easy to replace (and cheap) - at least on my GTI it was.
