  • Headlights Wiper/Clean Cap at Bumper broken

    Hi All,
Yes it's me again with problems!
    LOL!

I was cleaning my car and during a gentle dry wipe down, I notice my
Headlights Wiper/Cleaner Caps at the bumper came off.

Then I notice that its because the plastic hinge is broken.

Now that I have manage to glue it back together, I have no idea how to get it back in.

The sprayer only eject for a few seconds, how do you make it stay.
(tried turning off the ignition, does work)

Hiny for those who wants to try out:
it comes out only when u turn on full headlights and do a front wiper spray.

    Cheers

    Problem Solved

    Hi All,
    I have solved the problem.

use hand to pull out the sprayer gently, it comes out in an angle not straight.

with one hand hanging on to it and the other hand snap it on.

    the order goes like these

    1. There are 4 holes in the cover
    2. snap on the bottom hole facing towards the side of car first
    3. snap on other side bottom hole (then cover seems to act in a hinge)
    4. swing cover upwards and both top holes will snap in place
    5. let go, and the sprayer will slowly retract

I am pretty sure i will be doing this again, cause first, the glue i purchase.
I just notice it will bond all plastics but will not work in wet environment
2nd, my sprayer seems to be offset, seems like previous owner had some bump on side of car.

Anyone knows a good place to get spares?

PS. damn. knowing how it works now, needs to have more caution, cause people can just pull it out and ripped off your caps

    Cheers
