  • clearing airbag fault code.

Can anyone help me out with clearing an airbag fault code for a 2003 new beetle cabrio????
My battery died a while ago and now the airbag fault has come up due to low voltage to the airbag system.
    anyone???

Someone with VAGCOM should be able to assist you. I know of one in Sydney, not sure who has them in Melbourne though, sorry!
    Nothing to see here...

Try taking the positive terminal off for 10-20 mins so the ECU can erase fault codes. That works 90% of the time. It shouldn't come up with the same code since you have the new battery in it
