    hi there all,

    just got a question ive got a mk4 '03' 2.0 sports and im looking at exhaust sysems for it but im not sure what brand to go for magnaflow, remus ect so im kind of stumped

    I don't mean to be rude but I wouldn't waste your money if I were you.

    If you want the sound just get a cheap one made up.

    If you want performance you've got the wrong car.

        not true
        get a cheap exhaust and you'll have inside noise and it'll sound like a jap crap car.

        remus are tuned specifically for each car, sound, performance and proven.

        supersprint and other brands also alike .. they ARE expensive, you do pay for what you get.

        your best to just go for some tips and maybe do some port work instead

          My car's a 2L with centre muffler removed and a remus twin tip muffler. Muffler cost a fair bit, but it sounds good to me

            there is always a mk4 golf remus muffler on ebay brand new for 499 just get that.
            a4 1.8tq,s4 mirrors,genuine,a8,wheels,black side markers,rs4 grill, apr r1 dv,neuspeed springs 2" drop waiting for haltech ecu

                I had a Remus on my '04 2.0L sport and it was terrific. I actually only used the second half of it. It gave almost no cabin noise except for a nice little purr in the background and had a nice note to it outside the car.

                I agree with Pierre.. You get what you pay for, and a droany system will send you nuts really fast.
