As has been mentioned before in this forum if you want to go FI then look at one of the turbo kits available and either ship it OS to them to get the work done or have someone here who is extremely competent liaise with the supplier before you even purchase the kit or start the work to see what you will be up for.
If it was me, and I have been tempted to do it but thankfully was talked out of it, I would send it to HGP in Germany (who have been doing these kits for years) in a container and let them have the car for 3 months and do the job properly, I would then go over and test it for a few weeks and then ship it back.
Cheers Al

blk99 I have heard of charger installs in OZ, one of the ones I heard about had lots of issues with the belt coming off due to being orientated for US spec cars. If you want the VF kit, get it from the U.K. for the RHD version.Audi B4 80 Q V6'94 Race Car !! KEGGED
Audi B4 80 V6 Avant'94 Only one in the country that I know of !!! KEGGED

I would have to disagree after being a VF owner. For a direct bolt on kit it was great and still very reliable- I installed the kit myself in a day. I never had any problems with any of my kits. Some people did have a few problems, I think a lot of the problems were caused from guys try to pump every bit of power out of the blowers exceeding the parameters set by VF. I did run VF Giac software and then switched over to C2 after getting custom with my kit. The S/c Kits are going pretty cheap now days if I wasn't building my own custom turbo kit for the R now I would get another S/c kit. For software options there is HPA, Giac, C2- just do your research and ask lots of questions. Cheers JaySLAM.POKE.TUCK.DROP.DOPE!
