  • A Hypothetical Question To MK4 R32 Owners...

Ok guys, I'm just putting the feelers out, and looking to see what I might be up for. If any of you guys were looking to sell your .:R32 (Any colour), what would I be looking to pay to help you sway you into selling?? Like I said, its only the feelers at the moment, but I may be getting serious by years end.
    Cheers.

28-30k seem to be the magic number at the moment from what I've seen ryan, but they're usually nearly always up for the major 80k service so thats something to consider also.

Yeh I found one for 28 K with some good mods at 56,000 KM's for around that range and it was clean and well looked after. In the end I decided it wasn't worth moving from the Bora...

That I think was a very good deal so I wouldn't expect to find it again...

That does sound like a great deal. All those deals dried up about 2 weeks before i could buy my one so i missed out on about 3 in the high 20's. Ended up paying over 30K but am happy with it. Seems to flucuate greatly as far as prices go.

Did the one on pickles auction site get sold? It was in Perth, with 44k on the clock, but no service history.

              Hehehehe... Good one mate.
That said it shouldn't be too hard to find one as long as you're willing to travel a bit and pay the dollars. I've said it before but I reckon most of the cheaper ones that were around recently were fleet buyers just looking to pay out the residual on their leases.
It's also good to see that Jay has converted you over to the NA dark side.
              Cheers,

How much would you offer for a black one with 92k on the clock, full vw service history, on new tyres, neuspeed springs, neuspeed short shifter, eyebrows, neuspeed CAI with a K&N filter. There is a 7" dvd player with a 12" sub abd an amp. U cant have the plates and the radar detector. People that are members here from WA can tell you how fussy i am about it

Realistically, if I was looking to sell, probably 32K - Mid 04 Rego, 61500kms, all original with history, no body repairs, paintwork as unmarked as any REALLY clean 5 yr old cars is.

At the moment it would take 60K + psychiatrist fees (which I'd need after making the decision to sell it and regretting it BADLY!)

At the moment, I don't want to pay more than $30k. I will be paying cash if I do it. Hope that is a bit of a sweetener.

if the one @ Pickles is still available...you're in the game to purchase it (with change your way).

*Update*...just checked the Pickles website...it's not listed. Maybe sold. Maybe held back. Ring 'em:

Hey Guys. Thanks for all of your replys. I won't be able to get the car till atleast October, or even February at the earliest, as I am overseas with work, and won't be home more permanantly till then. It is only the feelers at the moment, but I am extremely keen to pick one up when I come home. I will also be looking at a Bora 4Motion.
